Accounting Intern

We are the #1 fastest-growing private company in Columbus, Ohio, by Inc. 5000, and one of the top and youngest financial planning firms in the country. Peak has grown from one team member to over 60 team members in just 4 years. In 2025, we had over 5,400 applicants, we only hired 19. We are very selective to ensure we hire the best and those aligned with our values and intensity.

  • Dislikes working with B and C players.

  • Does not need to be told twice what to do.

• Foxhole Team Member

  • Has a servant's heart and a purpose bigger than themselves.

  • Will help a team member fix a flat on the side of the road at 6am.

  • Goes above and beyond to provide a "White Glove Service" to our clients.

• Rocketship Mentality

  • Excited to join a fast-growing startup with extreme upside.

  • Growth Mindset in all areas of life -  professionally, personally, physically, and spiritually.

  • "Lifer" - those who want to work with us for 30+ years (not just a 9-5 job).

Earning an internship at Peak is a HUGE honor. We had over 1,000 interns apply in 2025 and selected only 20, so if you are chosen, you have been carefully selected. Our internship program is highly competitive and the top in the country. We have opportunities for summer, fall, and spring internships.

Why do we do internships?

1. Hire Future Team Members - Hiring is our number one bottleneck with the extreme momentum and growth our firm has experienced. This gives us an opportunity to find and test great-fit future team members before offering full-time. Our goal is to offer back every intern who crushes it and aligns with our values/standards/intensity.

2. Impact - Interns don't add much value to us during the internship. We can get all the tasks done with 5 interns. This is a mission to pour into interns. It is a Professional Development Masterclass and an incredible opportunity to grow in all areas of life. Few firms offer robust internship programs, so we decided to change that and build it ourselves.
